Since our beginnings in 1991, we have focused our capabilities on the leading edge production of low-volume high-mix standard technology rigid boards, delivering the widest range of technology options on the market. Our strengths lie in our smart business practices, our lean approach to manufacture and business management, and our use of the internet as an advanced business tool – all of which have helped us to become one of Europe’s largest specialist suppliers of quick-turn prototype and small batch PCBs. Last year alone we handled 62.000 orders for 7.000 clients, and the numbers continue to grow – in February of this year, we averaged a tally of no less than 300 orders a day.

We have over 500 clients in Denmark, plus others in Sweden and Central Europe. New customers come to us each week, and we take on between 3 and 5 new products every day. Ours is a high-mix low volume business and we specialise in complex products. Through our own and our partners’ facilities, we offer a high-speed 5-day engineering plus manufacturing service by which everything we start on a Wednesday is in Denmark on the following Monday. This means that we must be fast on our feet – quotes must go out to the clients as fast as possible, so that we can start working on the jobs on the same day.

Multicircuits’  winning combination of focus, flexibility and the talent to produce quality product quickly is the  cornerstone of 20 years of success. Our proactive approach encourages continuous improvement in both process and product. One example is the implementation of Ucamco’s Integr8tor solution. Prior to implementing the Integr8tor solution, our sales team prepared cost calculations from customer data using a Gerber viewer. Although effective, some manufacturing concerns had the potential of not being detected.  Consequently, complex jobs were analyzed by the CAM department, which was not an effective use of time.

Faced with fierce global competition, at Ramaer we are constantly looking for ways to speed up processes, reduce errors and cut costs. For our front-end operations, from quoting to tool-generation, this means automation. We have worked in partnership with Ucamco for many years, starting in the Barco days.  In July 2008 we installed their Integr8tor software to automate data input and analysis in the sales department. Today we can deliver faster and more accurate quotations. Our sales people are not just making quotes, they are quoting intelligently, based on a fuller understanding of the job and the customers’ requirements.

Quick turnaround orders are an important part of ACB’s services to our customers. For their time-critical projects even hours matter. Our customers need to get a quotation fast and it must be accurate. If there are layout errors or other production issues they want to know upfront before more time is lost.

Ucamco sells the Integr8tor solution to Multicircuits (Oshkosh, WI, USA), through their distributor LMCIS LLC.

Integr8tor is a powerful tool to enhance customer relations and increase front-end throughput by up to 30%. Its automatic data input and design analysis capability provides the job parameters needed for fast, accurate quotations and for higher throughput through the front-end tooling process.
